Proper Training for Nursing Assistants

Whatever your aim for you future, we have the perfect program to get you there.

Pristine College offers the Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program that will provide students with comprehensive theory and clinical training needed to acquire the knowledge and skills to meet the CA Department of Public Health requirements for CNAs. We offer a regular 4-week training program, the training is fast-paced to ensure the earliest graduation possible.

Theory classes include basic approaches of nursing practice, multi-cultural society, and communication are studied for the purposes of assisting persons to meet their basic needs. The role of the CNA as an assistant to the licensed nurse and the member of the health care team is studied and practiced in the classroom and laboratory. The method of instruction will include lecture, discussion, role play, demonstration and return demonstration.

Clinical classes is held in a nursing facility. Clinical experience will include reinforcements of skills learned in classroom and lab. Focuses on application of manual skills and understanding of theoretical concept learned in class and lab.
